Open to all county, township, and municipal employees who perform Snow & Ice removal
A properly calibrated truck prevents over or under application of salt; saving the driver time and miles, while also reducing impacts to the local environment. To ensure your plow truck is broadcasting the proper amount of material, you are invited to participate in a hands on workshop to learn the safe and efficient method of calibrating salt spreading equipment.
In addition, the County’s Weights and Measures Deputy will be on site to provide information and answer questions about traffic laws and overweight regulations as they pertain to Snow & Ice operations.
