Salt Spreader Calibration Training 

The Jefferson SWCD & Jefferson County Engineer's Office hosted a county wide training in November that focused on calibrating salt spreading equipment prior to the onset of winter.

MS4 Annual Report

As a co-permitted entity of Jefferson County & Others, it is time again to compile the data of work that was completed in your community in 2025 for the Small MS4 Annual Report.  Agency contacts will be receiving a separate email with additional information for completing the report. Similar to prior years, the JSWCD has developed a form to assist with submitting the necessary information.

Entities must submitt their information by Friday February 27, 2026

Water Quality Invoices

As a reminder, entities will also be receiving Water Quality invoices from the JSWCD in the coming days for the Stormwater Program.  Fiscal Officers may contact the office with any questions or concerns. 

 

 MS4 Permit

The current Small MS4 permit from the Ohio EPA is slated to expire March 31, 2026. There have not been any updates from the OEPA with permit specifications. Once these details are released, the JSWCD notify all co-permitted entities, and begin the process of renewing the permit for Jefferson County & Others. 

 

Wastewater & Stormwater Discharges from Data Centers - Open Comment Period

The Ohio EPA is currently accepting comments on a draft permit for wastewater and stormwater discharges from data centers.
